Sports Radio WQAM has been removed from yourmuze. Any chance of adding it back on?

The link is here: http://www.yourmuze.fm/node/43005

Unfortunately it only seems to play an advert and then the stream stops. I'd guess that is because they have an IP filter which restricts content to the US and our servers are in Europe.

Too bad. I was able to stream it up to a couple of weeks ago.

WQAM, like all of the Beasley-owned stations, is now using streamtheworld for its streaming. While I can get the full stream to work using http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/pls/wqamamaac.pls, yourmuze does not recognize that link. I can think of two possible reasons for this: 1) like CBS (though not publicly announced), Beasley has decided to cancel access to all of its stateside stations overseas; and/or 2) streamtheworld.com may not be happy with direct streaming links being made available through this site (keep in mind that the radio stations and their streaming providers have to pay an additional fee per listener per song heard, and so it is not in anybody's interest to widen the Internet listening audience).

It's not the second one. There are plenty of streamtheworld links working. e.g. http://www.yourmuze.fm/node/28458

The first one is more likely.

This is interesting. KFRC-FM, which the link points to, is owned by CBS Radio. However, the radio station is no longer playing this format on its over-the-air FM signal--it's simulcasting the news programming of KCBS-AM. KFRC-AM (now at 1550) is carrying Scott Shannon's True Oldies satellite feed, and I believe what is being streamed here is KFRC's HD2 channel which has no commercials.

Since CBS publicly took down international access to all of its treams back in February, I wonder if the company is now quietly allowing some of its streams back. Note that Clear Channel is allowing international access to a few of its stations now (I note WSAI-1360 "The Homer" is now available through this site).
