Yourmuze app and Yourmuze.FM website will not play my radio stations on my original Droid which I recently upgrade from Froyo to Gingerbread. The app get stuck perpetually initializing the stations, the browser media player says it could not open.

This is the third most used app after my Browser and Google Maps. Can we fix? Thanks!

It's a bug in gingerbread. You can find more info here: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=13715

We are trying to work around it by integrating our own AAC decoder in the app, but unfortunately this is not as easy as it seems.

I will post an update on the forum as soon as we have more information.

We have finally published an updated version of the app. This one has its own AAC+ decoder integrated. This means that the app won't be dependent on the Android media framework anymore, so it should work on all Android versions. You should receive an update via the Market shortly. Please let us know how this version behaves on your phone!

How sad that Google effective forced you to have to build out your own AAC decoder. But I have always known the problem was with Google and not Yourmuze. Excellent work nonetheless. Thank you!
