Android App in Development
I am ready to buy and would consider it worth good money. If you are building one, please put in Marketplace and I'd pay $4.99 to $9.99 for it since would let me multitask on my Droid and play ASX streams. Everytime I get a call I lose my feed and have to restart the webpage to open up the stream.
I will buy your app once released...keep up the good work.

Yes, I will definitely buy this app too.... please develop this app quick! thx!
I was very dissapointed when after your change from Moodio to YourMuze, my favorite stations stopped streaming, but I waited and now they are back in my phone thanks to you, very satisfied, signal and sound are wonderful. I will buy de app.
Please make an Android app, otherwise the service is not much point signing up for to use on an Android phone. Thanks.
Please give us an Android app!
Yourmuze is developing an Android app although there's no date for the launch as yet.
In the meantime, there are lots of Android users using the service without problem. Could you explain exactly what problems you are having and what you've tried. It may be a settings problem in your phone that others could help you with.
The Problem is, that the yourmuze streams are detected by android as videostreams and not audio streams. When you start them from m.yourmuze.fm, they are opened only in the video player or the real player. And these players only play when they are in foreground and the display must stay always on. If not, they stop. That makes sense for real video streams but yourmuze is audio. This drains the battery very fast. So what we need for android is a player that handles these streams as audio, and that is able to play them in the background.
Yes, the video stream/player issue will be resolved by the app. My question was directed at Android users who can't (or can no longer) stream at all. Perhaps 'without problem' was not the best phrase for me to use!
This solution is not mine but I hope the guy who found out doesn´t mind.
Try using the "dolphin browser" to access the yourmuze website. Also install "A online radio"-App from the market. The dolphin will start the app to play the stream and it works like a charm in the background. Never had a call while listening though, no idea what will happen.
For me, since my streams are AAC, I downloaded "Cherry Rplayer" (spelled correctly), and I go to my Yourmuze from by phone browser and I copy/paste the URL into the player.
If you guys are smart, what you should do is make the app free, but then charge to get rid of the ads. That way, the cheap folks will be still making you money.
OR
for the free app, you get lower bandwidth (20, 24, 30 parametric stereo only), and for 2.99 USD you could get up to 64kbps stereo.
I'd be willing to pay for that. The only other thing I would think of was someway to add radio links via SMS or e-mail or something. typing in all those special characters would be a pain...
You do need to use the dolphin HD browser and set it to iPhone agent. But you need to use a different player cherry player and aonline don't work anymore keep getting an error. I found that xiialive lite works. And I have got texts and phone calls works great. And don't have to pay anything. Goodluck
I just discovered this service and really appreciate it. I have an Android phone and am very much looking forward to the Android app. Any update on when that app may be released?
Thanks!
I have made app for my android via Ruby on Rails company developer
Since I bought my Droid X on the first day of release from Verizon, it was marginally working with the default app. It treated it like a video stream, so it would not multi-task, but at least I could listen. Suddenly this week something changed and it no longer works. So I came here and searched the forums, found the "Dolphin HD/XiiaLive/iPhone as agent" suggested solution, and that is a nice set of tools, plays all other radio in XiiaLive fine, but the YourMuze stream will not finish buffering, ever, on any YourMuze stream.
I really like the YourMuze streams and controls, but it this is going to be permanently broken, I will try WundeRadio which looks like it might work.
Please folks? if a Droid app is on the way, can you give us some sort of ballpark release date? Or tell us to give up and move on?
ps: also I notice a lot of spam ads on the forum, suggesting maybe no one is moderating? Is YourMuze an orphaned site?
I have a Droid Eris and yourmuze doesn't work with Dolphin HD. It only works with Dolphin.
That trick works for me. However, I had to uninstall and request refund for the Yourmuze official app due to not being able to run it. It force closes immediately upon launch.
