Backlight for Blackberry

Is there any way to have the back light go off during play with a BB 8330? I love the application and would be more than willing to pay for it but it eats my battery something fierce. With that one fix this would be a killer app!

I have a T-Mobile BB 8320 Curve. To preserve battery life, I reduced the backlight to 10% and have it shut off quickly.

Go to "Options" (the wrench icon)
Then select screen/keyboard
The backlight options are just a way down the menu.

use your blackberry button (hold it down and let it bring up the menu to pick where you want to go) and go to the main screen, then your backlight will turn off but the media player will keep playing.
