Blackberry Pearl 8120 Support

Good Day Mobile Radio Users

I just established an account. Everything worked fine, I loaded a few stations and was able to see them on my Blackberry Pearl 8120 however, I found out that this particular phone does not support the protocols established. I am unable to play the stations and I specifically get an error message that reads "The protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL". I get the same message for each of the stations loaded. How unfortunate because, I wanted to use Mood!o for my Smooth Jazz and NPR. -- Anyone who can assit would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Same problem here. Has anyone had success with BB 8110, 8120 or 8130?

It works fine on the BB Storm.

I have been running great for 6 weeks on my BB Curve, but now I am getting an "unsupported format" error. Still trying to resolve the issue.
Running US Cellular in the Appleton WI. area.
No Bob and Brian in the morning. I am bumming hard.

I have the latest OS.
Occasionally I get ailse errors but mostly it works.

You are probably on the 4.5 OS. I believe the 4.5 OS has a media player that supports streaming. My BB 8120 is still on the 4.3 OS because the bastards from T-mobile haven’t released the 4.5 yet for the Pearl customers. I may just download it from the ATT site and install it. I am just afraid that it may cause issues with some vendor specific features.

That is correct. I upgraded to 4.5 and have AllTel.

Got everything set up, logged on, selected a station, and my Pearl 8130 crashed. Reset and tried another station and it crashed again. I just upgraded to 4.5 OS. If moodio works for you, what bitrate are you using? Mono?

my 8120 with T-Mobile. No problems with uma, wifi works just great, and moodio streams beautifully! You also get docs2go with 4.5, so it is worth it. If you go to the 8120 forum on crackberry.com, there are links to the downloads and instructions. (and disable automatic updates if you have desktop 4.7).
