Cannot add my url - but it's valid

Hi there,

while trying to add

http://stream.secretcity.de/secretcity$08.wmv
mms://stream.secretcity.de/secretcity$08.wmv

I am getting the well known errormessage. Stream is up and working fine, so what do I do wrong?

Anyone a hint for me? URL-Snooper did not help/fix a thing.

Hi SCR. Quite possibly that dollar sign is playing havoc, if YOURMUZE uses Linux.

Try typing your stream URL to include a single quote, as:

'mms://stream.secretcity.de/secretcity$08.wmv'
or
\'mms://stream.secretcity.de/secretcity$08.wmv\'
or
\\'mms://stream.secretcity.de/secretcity$08.wmv\\'
or
\\\'mms://stream.secretcity.de/secretcity$08.wmv\\\'

N.B. that quote mark is not a sloping European mark, it must be the vertical USA style, If in doubt, copy the one I supplied.

Try all four forms. If none works, then I´m out of ideas.

I just followed your instructions and also tried the four forms containing http instead of mms - none worked, but thanks at all for your help :-)

1)Go to this web address: http://www.radio-locator.com/
2)Type in your radio station’s “call letters”. Click go.
3)Copy the web address that’s under “Audio Feed”
4)In Your Muze, click on “add a new station”
5)Paste URL in “source URL” field. Click submit
6)Enjoy!

I can not submit my new station at the url of
http://myradiostream.com/hot1057 ive got the proper url and it is
s8.myradiostream.com:10216 i got it from windows media player.

i recently submitted my other station at the url of
http://myradiostream.com/hot1055 with this stream url
s15.myradiostream.com:12836 and it worked to be added, im trying to add my second station
i listed first because im broadcasting 2 different sets of music
and i want everyone to have mobile access to it. please help.
