Hello everyone, I have a question. I know that Moodio is a free service, but does anyone know if we are actually using our minutes on our cel when listening? We have unlimited data on our plan, but am concerned with the dial tone that I'm losing my minutes. Thanks!

I have the same question - in addition - unable to actually hear the station - I get the dial tone - get a recording that I am listening to the station, and then get a signal like I get on a regular phone if the call does not go through. But the ringing dial tone concerns me - am I using minutes??

If u have unlimited data, no problem, if u dont have it, dont do it, its gonna be xpensive.

The dial tone means u dont have a unlimited data, so, be careful with that.

My understanding is that the dialtone is just you connecting to the stream/server.

If you have "unlimited" you should be all set. Of course, recognize that for many carriers, "unlimited" may not always be unlimited.

You don't call anything, or use your minutes. You use data. Last month, on my 8330 Verizon BB, I used 750 MB of data, and none of the 450 minutes that I have.
