Get "busy" sound after trying to switch stations

General Support Forum

Submitted by BigJ52 on 7/19/08 6:53 AM.

I have a Blackberry 8330 Verizon and I can get my first station to play correctly, but when I try to switch stations all I get every time is a "busy signal" sounding noise when it's trying to play the audio. Anyone else experience this? The only way to get it back to playing correctly again is turning my phone off and back on again.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks!

Do you mean this sound: http://www.moodio.fm/sit_disconnected.mp3 ?

The moodio server plays this when it is unable to open the source stream (because the station has technical difficulties/is down/doesn't exist anymore) OR when you try to open a rtsp:// link directly without first requesting a SDP file through the site. This could happen if you would for example bookmark streams in your player and start them directly from there instead of opening them via the site.

I don't think I'm doing anything differently than what I'm doing to get the 1st station to work correctly, but maybe I am.

Don't know....it's confusing to me.

Using Walkman w580i. It works fine for me, linking directly to the stream from my bookmarks. However when I try to change stations, I get the busy signal. I have to exit and restart the browser (opera mini) to get the next staion to come in.

By the way, love your service!

I will when I head into work. I live in a no-service zone. :(

I can now switch from station to station with no problem. No longer getting that "sound". Thanks for fixing it!
