I am completely daft or is it impossible to find BBC Radio 2 or any BBC channel on this thing ? I select all genres and enter "BBC Radio 2" or "BBC" and nothing comes up !

Do a search for BBC. Then you will find them all. BBC 2 isn't on page 1 but its in there, I just added it myself.
