Inquiry - battery life and bitrate

Lovin' the service. Based on the way the back-end encoding works, will I transfer more data and thus use experience shorter battery life if I use higher bitrates for my feed? Many thanks.

the extra use of the battery will be because you are constantly d/ling data using the radio. Using higher bitrates will use more data, but should not shorten your battery life any less than a lower bitrate. Maybe if the processor in the phone has to work a little more to process the audio, but that may be the only thing...
