Server problems update

Well, apparently the disk was not the problem. :(

I'm now trying to find out which component of the service is causing the problems by moving parts of it to other servers.

Not much progress; still trying to figure out which piece of software or hardware is causing the trouble.

I have also moved the website to a different server. This probably means that any open sessions have been lost. We may have to do this a few more times.

I think i finally found the cause of the problems! We haven't had a single outage today - apart from a short (unrelated) problem with starting new streams.

If everything keeps on working, i'll be moving everything to the main server again tomorrow. This will inevitably cause another outage. Hopefully this will be the last one :)

For the techies: it seems that an extremely high SHMMAX setting in the Linux kernel was the cause of the problems.

Not available again... The problems is not found!

What kind of problem are you experiencing? Everything works for me on pc & mobile and a few hundred people are listening right now..

Oops, that was another RTSP problem. Should be fixed now. I'll set up better monitoring for this.

Nope, still not. Just tried it now. Getting "error playing" messages.
