Station Order

I know the program is new but it would be great if we could sort the order of the stations, and group them. I would also like to be able to change the name.

By grouping I mean be able to make folders for each genre.

So I could have a folder with 3 rock stations in it and then a folder with 5 dance stations in it, just a way to sort the stations better.

As for naming I understand that allowing people to change the names could get confusing, how about making the naming format more consistent, as in using all caps in the title.

Also it looks like you have something ready to be able to rank the stations, I think that is real important. I tried uploading a couple stations that were accepted by MOODIO but do not work and it would be good if we could let others know that, or delete non functioning stations.

What exactly do you mean with "grouping"? How should this work?

I'm not sure if being able to change station names would be a good idea because there is one central database of stations and names. So if someone would change a station name the other users would suddenly see the stations in their list change too.

As you see we have a new site that solves a few of the things that you mentioned.

- Stations on your list are now at least ordered by name (before the order was completely random)

- There is an "add"/"remove" link on the station detail page now

- stations that do not work are automatically removed if they are broken/down for more than 24 hours

I'll look into the grouping/ordering thing later.

Hey there thanks for this great service! I just set up my BB8830 w/ 4.3 software (Verizon) and in about 10 minutes had streaming audio! Wonderful!

When picking out stations for "my station" from the master list, it was a pain in the butt to scroll through all 25+ pages of stations. I noticed that there is the ability to sort the stations by name A-Z or Z-A (if you know them by name I suppose) but what I really wanted was to sort by GENRE so I can go right to the type that I want.
