Stream hiccup causes repeating?

I've been trying to add our local NPR station's stream:

http://www.wxxi.org/podcast/am-hi.m3u

The stream works fine on VLC player (although if you run it with the -vv option you'll see some errors). The stream first plays a brief "donate" message and then splices on the live audio feed.

However, when I listen via Moodio, I simply get the "donate" message looped over and over again.

I've had some trouble listening to this stream via mplayer, so is it possible that something in the Moodio streaming setup is vulnerable to errors when the stream is spliced?

Silly me-- the first thing I should have said is, many many thanks for this excellent service! I have wanted to listen to streaming audio with my phone for ages, and Moodio makes it possible. You rock!
