Stream quality?

I have got all my favorite stations to enjoy on my BB Curve 8310. Although i do have a question...

Is there any setting i could do to make the stream quality better. i have it on the normal 24kbs P-stero. But i do get some skipping and often pausing. I have tried the other kbs settings but nothing really changes.

Any other thing i can try?
