Thanks very much for the update Oele!!!

Does anyone know of any other media players that can perhaps be installed on the Blackberry that will stream the moodio 3gpp file in the background?

The best u can do really is drop the black berry, Oele is right in saying that black berrys is a usa thing.Europe phones are alot more advanced wot with 3g here and most of us dont have blackberrys now. Infact im from the Uk and was in Sanfrancisco other week and you guys over there and miles behind when it comes 2mobile phones. If u can get hold of a nokia n95, or n96 then u will be able 2multi task while streaming. I think theres a n95 slimmed down version coming out 4u guys now or very soon with less spec otherwise checkout an up2 date Nokia

That you du5dd for this wonderful post... You are so right... As we all know, your phone is the best on earth.. Good for you dude!

Come on... BB's are good devices, they also have 3G (oh yes... we got that here too!) and they even have a real QWERTY keyboard ...

So come on, stop sh.. on the BB and keep your useless post for you.

I was playin'around the other day and discovered I could even use opera mini to browse at the same time I was listenin'. I can read my mail, too. Its really cool when I get a call or make a call, the player will shut down until I complete the call, then the station will re-connect and begin streaming again...oh yes, I have not upgraded my OS from 4.3...based on what I see on this forum, I think I'll hold off. lol..

I found that before I upgraded to 4.5 os I was able to use other apps while streaming using moodio. After the upgrade, I lost the ability to do so. I am still trying to find out why because I really like this application.

I don't know about other BBs but with the Storm if you program one of your side buttons (The camerabutton or the voice command button) as your AP Launcher, then you can press that, and then bring up the main screen and do what you want. Walaa.

Oh. And THANKS MOODIO! Great APP!

SidIrish

If you have a Storm and are confused email me at sidirish@gmail.com to get a quicker answer. I would think that all the BBs would have programable buttons?

I have blackberry storm

verizon wireless

i use one of two ways and have been switching very easily...going to other apps...even internet sites.

1. Press one of your two shortcut keys...back out of those if u want to access ur homescreen.

2. EASIEST OPTION ON PLANET - HIT THE RED HANG UP THE PHONE BUTTON and WALLAH!.....u back right out to homescreen and there u go.....from this option...the only way to get back is to goto web-browser app.

Have fun all

This is an issue discussed on many other forums and it is definitely an OS issue. Worked fine for everyone (on BB Curves running 4.3.x OS) but as soon as we all upgraded to 4.5.x the multitasking no longer works.

Can't believe RIM would TAKE AWAY functionality, but it is not a moodio issue, they have nothing to do with it.
