working stream disappears after every add

General Support Forum

Hi everyone.

There is a stream that I like to listen to that only operates at certain times on the weekend. As far as i know it is 'on' all the time (ie you can connect even when it is not operational) but you can hear nothing but a small amount of static. The problem comes where the stream is deleted from both the public list and My Stations every Monday or so. I have been readding it for the past few weeks but the same thing occurs every time. Is there a way to make the link permanent, or perhaps contact support to do this? It is really annoying and there is no email as far as i can see for help.
<!--break-->
The stream url is as follows
mms://wm9.streaming.telstra.com/ucs-wh_afl0live9

It adds ok plays ok but is deleted by who knows who.

Any help would be appreciated even if it meant refferring me to a similar service to yourmuze.

Thanks in advance for the help

Deletion of inactive streams is a necessary cleaning process built in to the service. There's not much you can do except keep resubmitting it.

IT JUST HAPPENED AGAIN TO A DIFFERENT STATION THAT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY. GRRRRR

Vent over, the stream is not inactive, as far as im aware. I describe in my initial post that it still connects but nothing is playing. And now that this has occurred to another stream url, i am starting to feel there could be sone bug in the new system. Everything worked perfectly when Moodio was around, now Yourmuze starts and problems start with it.

If there is no fix i mighy be forced to do some googling and find an alternative service.
